High School Teacher Workshop

Join us for a FREE STEM Research Training Program!

NIRSEF applied for the Advancing STEM Research Training (ASRT) program and was one of ten applicants to be selected nationwide. ASRT is a 3.5-day, in-person, professional development program aimed to support high school teachers who teach STEM or provide science research opportunities; including, but not exclusive to, teachers involved in NIRSEF and other science fairs. The workshop will be lead by a national expert educator in STEM.

The goal of this training is to develop custom curriculum, including activities and guides, for high school science teachers. ASRT offers information and insight pertaining to all stages of the student research process. ASRT also presents tips for students to present in public, including in science fairs and other competitive/non-competitive venues.

Free follow-up support will be offered via email or Zoom/Google Meet.

Join us at Notre Dame July 16-18 from 9am-3pm and July 19 from 9am-12pm.

Lunch will be provided July 16-18.

This workship is provided at no cost to participants. Please contact us with questions or if you need additional information. We do hope to get the workshop approved for Professional Growth Points (though that is still pending). To register please click here
